Avoiding Termination Lawsuits: This workshop will focus on the proper process to follow when terminating employees. We will look at the documentation needed, the termination meeting, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and other aspects of termination. We will examine the importance of consistent and accurate performance appraisals in defense of the decision to terminate. Additionally, we will discuss the potential law suits which can result from termination and how to avoid them. |
