On the Front Line... Legal Issues for Direct Care Staff This seminars focus will be on legal issues which impact direct care staff. We will discuss the reasonable accommodation requirement of The Americans with Disabilities Act and recent case law which provides guidance for the staff. We will also look at the issue of confidentiality, specifically custody issues and how to read and interpret the variety of Court Orders effecting children. Participants will discuss safety concerns, parent issues, and personnel issue as they relate to line staff. |
