Using Your Personnel Policy Manual as an
Effective Personnel Management Tool:
The focus of
this seminar is on the
development and revision of a
personnel policy manual. We will
emphasize the legal impact of
topics such as recruitment and
hiring, at-will employment
status, performance appraisals,
hours of work, hiring,
termination and disciplinary
policies. Participants will
attain an understanding of the
role of the board of directors,
parent policy council and staff
in the development and
implementation of the policy
manual.
