Confidentiality

     Participants are provided with a presentation on the issue of confidentiality as it relates to personnel issues, clients, and agency records. The focus is on the “need to know” approach. Areas which are covered are client, family and staff rights to privacy, personnel records agency records, and Board actions. Participants will gain an understanding of the confidentiality rules based upon the Constitution and the individual rights of privacy. The lecture will also address what information is to be kept confidential.
