Evaluating an Employee’s Performance:

This seminar will focus on the importance of conducting accurate employee performance appraisals. Participants will be presented with legal issues and suits which have risen from inaccurate performance appraisals. Participants will discuss the link between an accurate job description and the performance appraisal. Participants will also learn how to prepare for and present a performance appraisal to the employee. Strategies and employment policies for dealing with employees who refuse to sign for receipt of a performance appraisal and/or disagree with the assessment given will be presented. Participants will discuss the value of having the employees conduct a Self Appraisal prior presentation of the employer’s appraisal as well as having employees conduct a performance survey for supervisors.
