Personnel Issues and Answers

      Personnel is the area where most administrators have the most difficulty finding information and answers. This seminar will focus on issues such as exempt and non-exempt status under the Fair Labor Standards Act, conducting a legal employment interview under Americans with Disabilities Act, employer’s obligations under Family Medical Leave Act, employer’s rights in areas such as unemployment compensation and workers compensation, preparing and presenting a performance appraisal, and conducting a job analysis in order to revise job descriptions.
