In this seminar participants will learn how to calculate their actual cost of care for one child per day in their center. We will analyze expenses and cost to determine the health of the business and discuss various strategies to improve the business and making a profit. Participants will discuss the implications of charging less than the subsidy reimbursement rate. We will look into how publishing the actual cost of care can get your center more money from subsidized care reimbursements. We will discuss the businesses revenue gap and ways in which the revenue gap can be narrowed or even produce a profit. And finally, we will explore the “scholarship” money many child care centers are giving to children and ways to make the “scholarship” work to the agencies benefit.
